Azerbaijan's GWP for agricultural livestock reached AZN 2.1 million (~EUR 1.18 million) in 2024. According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this indicates a decrease of AZN 1.8 million or about 46.7% y-o-y, Trend reports.

However, the paid claims in the segment amounted to AZN 1.33 million, reflecting an increase of 23.3% y-o-y.

Additionally, during the same period, agricultural crop insurance amounted to AZN 12.1 million (~EUR 6.82 million), while paid claims reached AZN 5.2 million. These figures show a decrease of 6.2%, in premiums and an increase of AZN 3.7 million in paid claims y-o-y.
