According to financial reports of Georgian insurance companies, the number of insured air vehicles in Georgia is 63 units, which is 15 units less than in 2022, Business Georgia reports.

Of the 18 insurance companies operating in the Georgian market, based on the results of 9M2023, BB Insurance insures the most aircraft (43 units). In the overall market ranking in terms of GWP for the first three quarters, the company ranks 12th.

During the period under review, air vehicle insurers collected GEL 12.9 million (~EUR 4.53 million), which is approximately 1.3 times more than in the same period in 2022.

In terms of premiums collected in the segment, the leader is Unison (GEL 7.8 million), which ranks 7th in the overall market ranking. It is noted that there was practically no damage payment in the segment for 9M2023.
