In June this year, life insurers in Kazakhstan will offer unit linked product to their customers. This insurance product is new to this market, Allinsurance.kz reports.

The regulator planned to launch unit linked in the country in 2018, however, due to the need to adjust the documents regulating activities of the securities market and insurance companies, the launch of unit linked product was delayed.

As Yerlan BURABAEV, the managing director of the Association of financiers of Kazakhstan, noted, "this product will allow the market reach a new level of quality and will give insurance companies room for development and improvement as well as increase investment opportunities of clients", he said.
