Market shares of other compulsory insurance and voluntary insurance have undergone some changes. Other compulsory insurance increased by more than 5% y-o-y, while the voluntary dropped by the same amount.
The market total paid claims, unlike premiums, saw a considerable increase year-on-year, by almost 44% reaching TJS 15.3 million (~EUR 1.4 million), as the data, published by the National Bank, show. The largest increase of paid claims came from the voluntary types and exceeded 50% y-o-y.
Total number of market participants remained the same and by the end of 2019 amounted to 19 including 2 state insurance organizations, 16 non-state and 1 center for mutual insurance support.
