The National Bank of Tajikistan issued a new license to the commercial insurance organization Takafful. The document allowing the insurance company to operate on the territory of Tajikistan will be valid until September 22, 2025, Sputnik writes with reference to the press service of the regulator.

The decision to re-register was due to the change in the insurance company's location under the Tajik licensing law. The previous document allowing Takafful to carry out activities on the territory of the republic was cancelled.

It is noted that Takafful provides an insurance system based on the mechanism of distribution of profits and losses between the participants and the operator.
