Tajikistan introduced a new type of insurance against COVID-19, as Abdullo ABDULLOEV, the first deputy general director of the State Company Tojiksugurta noted, Avesta reports.

ABDULLOEV pointed out that there are already people insured against coronavirus, but, fortunately, still no paid claims under this insurance. He mentioned, that in case of a premium worth TJS 100 (~EUR 8.50*), payments after an insured's death will reach TJS 10,000 (~EUR 847).

The newly introduced insurance product provides that "the insurance payments will be made only if a medical statement confirms diagnosis of coronavirus, not pneumonia or any other similar disease," he added.
