A new insurance company, Eskhata Sugurta, has been registered on the Tajik market, Avesta news agency reports, citing the press center of the National Bank of the country.

According to the National Bank, the company's license for insurance activities was issued for a 5-year term. An appropriate decision was made by the Board of the National Bank in accordance with the laws "on insurance activity" and the laws "on issuance of licenses for certain types of activities".

By the end of the first half of 2019, the total number of the Tajik insurance market participants was 19.
