Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said damage caused by the catastrophic floods in May 2014 has amounted to EUR 1.5 billion (USD 2.03 billion), InSerbia reported.
A new report by the Serbian government has revealed that 485 houses were completely destroyed, Ms. Mihajlovic told news agency Tanjug.
She added that the flooded mines of the Kolubara complex will be unable to generate the required amount of coal by the coming winter.
