North Macedonia-based
insurer Triglav Osiguruvanje, which is part of Slovenian insurance group
Triglav, said that it recorded a net loss of MKD 17.6 million (EUR 0.38 million)
in the first half of 2021 (vs a net profit of MKD 30.5 million for the same
period last year), SeeNews reports.

Osiguruvanje's revenue totalled MKD 482.4 million in 1H, which is 8.5% less
y-o-y, the company said in its financial statement. Net earned premiums dropped
9.7% to MKD 407.5 million for the period January-June period of 2021.
The company's total
expenses grew by 1% on the year to MKD 499.9 million for the first six months,
while net claims decreased by 0.4% to MKD 235.5 million.
