Bosnian insurers reported aggregate Q3 GWP of BAM 618 million (~EUR 316 million) vs. BAM 569 million (EUR 291 million) a year before, according to the most recent market data published by AZOBiH - Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The non-life sector's contribution to the market portfolio was of about 79.6% of total GWP BAM 492 million, 7.7% more y-o-y, while the life-insurance companies contributed the remainder BAM 126 million, or 12.3% more y-o-y.

FBiH insurers have provided for almost 70% of the total GWP (BAM 432 million), while insurers domiciled in Srpska Republic posted GWP worth BAM 186 million.

FBiH based UNIQA Osiguranje is the largest life insurer in the market, with a 23.9% market share, while Adriatic Osiguranje is the top non-life insurer, with a market share of 10.5%.
