Macedonian insurance company Sava Tabak, which is in the majority ownership of Slovenian reinsurance company Sava Re, posted a drop of 34 percent in revenues from non-consolidated gross premiums, to EUR 5.9 million in the first six months this year, compared to EUR 9 million in the same period last year.

The company paid EUR 5.5 million for claims of insured persons. In the same period last year, the company paid EUR 3.6 million. The parent company increased the capital of Sava Tabak by subscribing 5,000 new shares at the price of MKD 154 million or EUR 2.5 million.
