According to the insurer, GWP of ROSGOSSTRAKH in 2019 increased by 16% (over RUB 80 billion/~EUR 1.15 billion), and net profit - by 32.2%, to RUB 7.3 billion. Paid claims amounted to RUB 35.1 billion, and the company's equity reached RUB 52.3 billion, ASN news agency reports.

Gennady GALPERIN, General director of ROSGOSSTRAKH, one of the TOP-10 Russian insurers, noted that "last year has proved that our company is confidently growing via all sales channels. And some channels, as online or bancassurance, demonstrated multiple increase of GWP....Talking about insurance types, we see that major increase y-o-y was provided by accidents and illness insurance, as well as voluntary health insurance", he added.

"In 2020 we intend to maintain growth in key business lines. We'll fight for a leading position in property insurance of individuals, and we also want to fight for expansion of our share in voluntary motor insurance, increase our portfolio of bancassurance, corporate products and voluntary health insurance", GALPERIN explained.
