Shareholders of the insurance brokerage companies BALTO LINK and A DZIVIBA have agreed to merge their companies in Latvia to create the 3rd largest insurance brokerage company in the Baltic States, with over EUR 21 million in annual written insurance premiums and EUR 3 million in annual commission revenue in total, informs BALTO LINK.

The resulting company will be operating under name of BALTO LINK, SIA. The new broker will have 2 offices in Latvia (in Riga and Ventspils), and 6 other offices in Lithuania and Estonia employing nearly 100 professionals.

According to Robertas SALTIS, CEO of BALTO LINK, "the merger will combine the best of both and create one strong team."

At the same time, the merger will be legally completed at the beginning of 2013, "making the merged company to be the largest health and life insurance broker in Latvia," as the press release showed.

"By merging we become by far the largest Latvia's health and life insurance broker, which allows us to deliver to our clients better price and service quality, advanced IT solutions and the best know-how concentration", declared Rita STUGE, Member of the Board of A DZIVIBA.

BALTO LINK is an independent insurance brokers' company opened in Latvia in 2004. At the same time, BALTO LINK is a network member of the world's 3rd largest insurance broker group WILLIS.

A DZIVIBA is a Latvian insurance broker, established in 2001. Over time, A DZIVIBA became a leading company on Latvia's health and life insurance market.
