The National Bank’s calculations regarding base rates and coefficients for domestic and international compulsory motor third-party liability insurance were based on aggregated market-wide statistical data over the past five consecutive years.
The new regulation of the National Bank will replace the rates currently used to calculate motor insurance price, which have been in effect since November 2025. Insurance companies determine the final price of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance on an individual basis, the source added.
