KAZAKHSTAN: Insurance market development program through 2030 to require comprehensive restructuring of insurance ecosystem

The insurance market should be viewed not merely as a mechanism for risk protection, but also as a source of long-term capital and an institution fostering shared responsibility among the state, citizens, and businesses, stated Nurzhan Tursunkhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan.




UKRAINE: TAS Group ratings affirmed at uaAA+

The rating agency IBI-Rating has affirmed the TAS Group’s long-term credit rating on the national scale at uaAA+ with a stable outlook, Forinsurer reports. The agency also affirmed the Group’s financial strength rating at uaAA+ifr.






STATISTICS: ARMENIA, 1H2026: Motor insurance generated almost 56% of all premiums

Armenia's insurance sector generated AMD 41.93 billion (EUR 99.96 million) in the first half of 2026, up only 1.10% y-o-y. However, in euros, market growth was significantly higher (+8.66%). Paid claims in local currency increased by 8.73%, reaching AMD 23.31 billion (EUR 55.59 million), according to data from the Financial Rating of Insurance Companies provided to ArmInfo.
