Voluntary motor vehicle insurance in Azerbaijan for January-October of this year amounted to AZN 50.69 million (~EUR 27.55 million), which is 19% more y-o-y, ABC.AZ writes with reference to the Central Bank report.

During this period, paid claims in the segment amounted to AZN 18.37 million (~EUR 9.98 million), which is 12% more y-o-y.

At the same time, the loss ratio for the reporting period was 36%. It is noted that the loss ratio over the past year decreased by 3%, from 39% a year earlier for the same period.
