After five years of service Petr STEPAN decided to pursue new career opportunities outside of VIG Group. He will be succeeded by Ales MIRNIK, who joins VIG Re as the new Head of Central & Eastern Europe department effective 8th of August 2019.

MIRNIK will take over from STEPAN the responsibility of the Non-Life treaty underwriting for CEE region, including Baltics, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, CIS countries and Turkey for business originating from inside and outside of VIG Group, reporting to Tomasz ROWICKI, responsible Board Member for business assumed from the region.

MIRNIK has more than 15 years of experience in the reinsurance industry. He started his career as an underwriter in Sava Re in 2003 where he has been driving the transformation of the company and developing their international Third-Party business as an executive director for the past 7 years.
