Anja Kaefer-Rohrbach becomes the new Deputy General Manager at the German Insurance Association (GDV). In the future, she will be responsible for the competence center for risk protection for society and the economy.

"I am very pleased that in Anja Kaefer-Rohrbach we have found an experienced personality with excellent connections in Berlin and Brussels who completes our association management," said GDV President Wolfgang Weiler.

Kaefer-Rohrbach, 47, comes from Aareal Bank Group, where she heads global political and regulatory communications as Head of Global Governmental Affairs. Before that, she held management positions at Deutsche Bank AG, Deutsche Postbank AG and Commerzbank AG.

Kaefer-Rohrbach gained association experience as a department director at the Federal Association of German Banks, having previously headed the Bundestag office of Georg Fahrenschon, then CSU member of the Bundestag.
