Konstantin Velev, the CEO of Bulgarian non-life insurer Armeec, was re-elected as Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ), according to a press release publish on insurer's website: "His election was made unanimously during the general meeting of the members of the association, which approved the program of the association for next year".

"I accept my re-election primarily as a sign of trust on the part of my colleagues from the insurance community and as a high appreciation for the work we have done together with the other members of the Management Board. I thank my colleagues for the confirmed trust and continue to defend the goals we have for the sustainability and development of the industry ", said Konstantin Velev.

The ABI Management Board includes also includes representatives of local business units of VIG (Bulstrad Vienna Insurance Group), Euroins, Allianz Bulgaria, Groupama, Generali, Uniqa.
