German insurance group ERGO announced the Supervisory Board of ERGO Group AG has appointed Lena LINDEMANN to the company's Board of Management with effect from 1 July 2022. The appointment is subject to approval by the supervisory authorities.

In addition to her role as Labour Director, Lena LINDEMANN will take over responsibility for Human Resources Germany, Human Resources International and General Services from Ulf Mainzer.

Ulf Mainzer will continue to be responsible for Legal and Data Protection, Purchasing, Compliance as well as the Corporate Office and will focus on the further increasing regulatory and legal requirements.

"With Lena LINDEMANN, we are gaining a recognized expert and valued personality for our Executive Board. She will consistently continue the initiated transformation of the HR department, further advance the development of the employer brand and prepare the company for the further digitalization of the world of work," said Dr. Markus RIESS, Chairman of the Executive Board, explaining the expansion of the Executive Board.
