"Jost DOLNICAR will take office on the next business day after obtaining the Insurance Supervision Agency licence to act as a management board member, but not earlier than 5 May 2022. The term of office of the chair of the management board is five years", as the Slovene re/insurer informed in a statement
The resolution on the appointment of Jost DOLNICAR is subject to a suspensive condition: obtaining a licence for performing the function of a board member, to be issued by the Insurance Supervision Agency.
Due to his appointment to the management board of Zavarovalnica Sava, Jost DOLNICAR will tender his resignation as a member of the management board of Sava Re, effective as of the date of obtaining the licence to act as a member of the management board of Zavarovalnica Sava, but not earlier than 5 May 2022.
Jost DOLNICAR has been with Sava Re since 2006, first as a senior executive responsible for overseeing the Group's subsidiaries, and since December 2008 as a member of the management board responsible for the Group's strategic investments in subsidiaries, and for processes and IT. He headed the Sava Re management board from August 2016 to May 2017.
Before joining Sava Re, Jost DOLNICAR worked for Zavarovalnica Triglav, most recently as the executive manager of the non-life business. Jost DOLNICAR graduated in law from the University of Ljubljana.
