In the Latvian Insurers' Association (LAA) members' meeting in November, two management members of the association's council were re-elected for a two-year term, as well as the association's 2023 work plan and budget were approved.

Aigars Freimanis, head of the Latvian branch of Compensa Vienna Insurance Group ADB, was elected to the position of chairperson of the LAA council. While Martins Rozentals, a member of the board of BALTA, was elected as the deputy chairman of the council for risk insurance. Edgars Ozolins, product manager of the product development department at Swedbank Life Insurance SE in Latvia, who was elected to this position in March 2021, will continue to perform the duties as the deputy chairman of the council for life insurance.
