On November 4, 2021, a meeting of members of the Latvian Insurers' Association (LAA) was held, at which two members of the association's management were re-elected for a two-year term, as well as the association's work plan and budget for 2022 were approved, as LAA announced on its website.

Ingrida KIRSE, a member of the Board of ERGO Insurance SE Latvia Branch and ERGO Life Insurance SE Latvia Branch, was re-elected Chairman of the LAA Council, and Aigars Freimanis, Head of Compensa Vienna Insurance Group ADB Latvia Branch, was re-elected Deputy Chairman of the Council. Edgars OZOLINS, Head of Product Development at Swedbank Life Insurance SE in Latvia, who was elected to this position in March 2021, will continue to serve as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The meeting of members also agreed on the future priorities, the main ones being improvement of industry legislation, stimulation of population's accumulation habits, development of construction insurance model, improvement of information exchange with state institutions, as well as promotion of cooperation with schools and universities.
