As of January 1, Urzula Deska has become the new chairman of the board of ERGO, one of the leading insurance groups in the Baltic region, in the Baltic States, and will also hold the position of head of ERGO's Latvian branches in the future, as Latvian Insurers' Association (LAA) reports.

Urzula has been working in the ERGO insurance group since 2017 and has held various senior positions in leading insurance companies. Now she will be in charge of ERGO's business development and direction in the Baltic countries.

"I feel honored that I have been given the opportunity to lead ERGO in the Baltic countries. I am confident that my 20 years of experience and knowledge in the insurance field will help drive the company's growth in the region and contribute to its future success. One of the most important principles that I have become convinced of is that customer satisfaction is a truly important indicator for successful development", Urzula said, emphasizing that she is looking forward to cooperation with the ERGO Baltic team.
