Lukas Herrmanns will be CEO of Marsh Germany and Central Eastern Europe

According to a recent press release from Marsh, the group has appointed Lukas Herrmanns as Chief Executive Officer of Germany and CEE (Central Eastern Europe) starting with 1 January, 2021.

Mr. Herrmanns replaced Mr. Fahrig in this role, who will continue as CEO for the region and will also become Chairman of Marsh Germany. Mr. Herrmanns will report to Siegmund Fahrig, CEO of Marsh Continental Europe.

Mr. Fahrig commented: "Lukas combines strong leadership skills with a deep knowledge of our industry and extensive experience working in multicultural environments. With over 25 years of experience in risk advisory and insurance broking, Mr. Herrmanns held senior positions with both Aon and Willis Tower Watson. In 2008, Mr. Herrmanns joined Marsh as Country Head for Austria and subsequently expanded his geographical responsibilities to include the CSEE (Central Eastern and Southern Europe) region. He also acts as Corporate Country Officer for Marsh & McLennan in Austria.
