Mr. Herrmanns replaced Mr. Fahrig in this role, who will continue as CEO for the region and will also become Chairman of Marsh Germany. Mr. Herrmanns will report to Siegmund Fahrig, CEO of Marsh Continental Europe.

With over 25 years of experience in risk advisory and insurance broking, Mr. Herrmanns held senior positions with both Aon and Willis Tower Watson. In 2008, Mr. Herrmanns joined Marsh as Country Head for Austria and subsequently expanded his geographical responsibilities to include the CSEE (Central Eastern and Southern Europe) region. He also acts as Corporate Country Officer for Marsh & McLennan in Austria.
