In this role, "Ms. Sanchez will lead compliance strategy for Marsh McLennan globally, partnering with compliance officers in the Company's four businesses to manage compliance risk across the enterprise. She will report to Bruce P. Nolop, Chair of the Audit Committee of the Marsh McLennan Board of Directors, and Peter J. Beshar, the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Marsh McLennan".
Denise Sanchez succeeds Katherine Brennan who served as Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer for Marsh McLennan for four years before being appointed in June as the General Counsel of Marsh.
Prior to joining Marsh in 2017, Denise Sanchez was the Compliance Director of Laws and Regulations at Willis Towers Watson, where she worked for a dozen years in roles of increasing responsibility. Earlier in her career, she worked as an associate in Carlton Fields' insurance corporate practice group and at Sidley Austin.
