In her new role, Nilay Ozden is responsible for delivering Marsh Specialty's services to customers in Europe. With a team of more than 4,000 professionals globally, Marsh Specialty provides data-driven insights, services, consulting and insurance market access to clients in the aerospace, commercial credit, energy, construction and aerospace industries, FINPRO, from the maritime and freight industry and for the private equity, mergers & acquisitions sectors. (PEMA).
Nilay Ozden joined the Marsh Turkey team in 2001 and, during her 22-year career at Marsh, held various positions as a senior specialist in brokerage and business development. In the last 10 years she led the FINPRO division in Continental Europe.
In addition, Marsh announced the appointment of Cristian Fugaciu and Artur Grzeskowiak as Co-CEOs for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), effective immediately. Both Cristian and Artur also maintain their position as CEO of Marsh Romania and Poland, respectively, and will work in the Bucharest and Warsaw offices and report to Christos Adamantiadis.
In the new positions, both will be responsible for the development of Marsh's operations in the CEE region, consisting of 13 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
Cristian Fugaciu has over 25 years of experience within Marsh and has held several management positions, including Head of Marsh's Corporate business in Romanian before being appointed CEO in 2002. In 2013 he took over the coordination of the Southern CEE Region and for the Central CEE region in 2018.
Artur Grzeskowiak started his career in 1997 and worked for relevant brokerage companies before joining Marsh Poland in 2016 as CEO. Recently, he took over the coordination of the Northern CEE Region.
