AXA announced the appointment of Matthieu Andre, currently Deputy CEO and Chief Strategic Development Officer of AXA Europe, as CEO of Architas Holding. This appointment will be effective March 1, 2020, and subject to any required regulatory approval.

In his new role, Matthieu Andre will report to Alban de Mailly Nesle, Chief Risk and Investment Officer and a Member of the AXA Group Management Committee. He replaces Hans Georgeson who has decided to pursue other opportunities outside the Group.

Architas is an asset manager and part of the global AXA Group. The company manages investments internationally on behalf of institutional and retail clients. Formed in 2008, Architas has grown to have a presence in the UK, France and Belgium, offering investors a way to invest via multi-manager funds.
