Miriam van Dongen appointed as new member of ACHMEA's Supervisory Board

Dutch insurer ACMEA announced about a week ago that during the Annual General Meeting, the shareholders approved the appointment of Miriam van Dongen as a member of ACHMEA's Supervisory Board for a period of four years. The nomination has been approved by the Nederlandsche Bank. Additionally, the AGM has reappointed Wim de Weijer to the Supervisory Board for a period of four years.

Miriam van Dongen has extensive experience in the financial sector. As a professional supervisory director, she is associated with PGGM and Optiver and used to be in the Supervisory Board of, among others, VIVAT. She was previously CFO at ACHMEA Health (2007-2009) and has held various management positions at DELTA Lloyd.

The current members of ACHMEA's Supervisory Board are: Aad Veenman (chair), Wim de Weijer (vice-chair), Jan van den Berg, Miriam van Dongen, Petri Hofste, Lex Kloosterman, Mijntje Luckerath, Lineke Sneller and Roel Wijmenga.
