The main driver of the negative trend was the property insurance segment which recorded a 23% decrease in GWP, mostly coming from the fire insurance LoB. The negative trend in property insurance was partially offset by the GWP growth for motor insurance, both lines (Motor Hull and MTPL insurance) recording a positive evolution. Overall, motor insurance GWP rose by 7.24% y-o-y, to EUR 65 million.

Paid claims went up by 2.8% y-o-y, mostly driven by the increased volume of paid indemnities for life insurance.
