PZU’s SB dismissed the BoD President and other five BoD Members

Polish insurer PZU informed in a statement that on 23 February 2024, the Company's Supervisory Board (SB) dismissed the President of the PZU SA Management Board and other five Members. “The dismissal resolutions did not include information on the reasons for the dismissal and came into force upon adoption”, informed PZU.

The persons dismissed by the Company's Supervisory Board from the PZU Management Board are:

  • Beata Kozlowska-Chyla, who served as the President of the PZU SA Management Board,
  • Ernest Bejda, who served as a Member of the PZU SA Management Board,
  • Malgorzata Kot, who served as a Member of the PZU SA Management Board,
  • Krzysztof Kozłowski, who served as a Member of the PZU SA Management Board,
  • Piotr Nowak, who served as a Member of the PZU SA Management Board,
  • Malgorzata Sadurska, who served as a Member of the PZU SA Management Board.

“The mandates of the dismissed Members of the PZU SA Management Board shall expire as a result of dismissal from the Company’s Management Board”, as PZU representatives pointed out in a statement.

At the same time, the PZU SA Supervisory Board adopted resolutions to delegate the following Members of the PZU SA Supervisory Board:

  • Anita Elzanowska, to temporarily perform the functions of the President of the PZU SA Management Board, until the appointment of the President of the PZU SA Management Board, but for a period not exceeding 3 months,
  • Michal Bernaczyk, to temporarily perform the functions of the PZU SA Management Board Member for a period of 3 months.

“Resolutions on delegating members of the PZU SA Supervisory Board to temporarily perform the functions of the President and Member of the PZU SA Management Board entered into force upon adoption”.
