Polish insurance group PZU SA (Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen Spolka Akcyjna) announced that on 1 September 2022 on the occasion of Company's Extraordinary Shareholder Meeting, Piotr Wachowiak was appointed as Member of the Company's Supervisory Board. "The resolution came into force upon its adoption".

Piotr Wachowiak has had 31 years of experience with business practice, working in management positions in various organizations.

Among others, he was Deputy Director of the Warsaw-Srodmiescie Council Housing Board, Director of the Council Housing Department of the Warsaw-Central Municipality Office, and Deputy Director of the Zoliborz District Board - member of the District Management Board, Chancellor of SGH, Vice-Dean of the SGH College of Management and Finance, Vice-Rector for Science and Management.

He specializes in the management of human resources in an organization and corporate social responsibility.

The field of his scientific research includes personnel policy in companies operating in Poland, negotiations, measurement of intellectual capital in companies, knowledge management in businesses and corporate social responsibility.
