During January-March 2025, the Lithuanian insurance market grew by 8.79% y-o-y to EUR 428.20 million, according to the market figures published by the Bank of Lithuania.

The amount of non-life GWP increased by 9.36% y-o-y to ~EUR 333 million, while the life insurance market grew by almost 6.9% to ~EUR 95 million.

The largest contribution to the market growth was provided by the motor insurance segment: the MTPL insurance line saw a 10% growth, to EUR 90 million, while the Motor Hull line recorded GWP worth EUR 71.5 million, up by 8.42% y-o-y.

According to the Central Bank's statistics, COMPENSA Life VIG (22.6% market share) is the largest life insurer in the country as GWP volume, while Lietuvos draudimas 28.87% market share) is the top non-life insurer out of 13 market players.
