It is noted that the result corresponds to the average growth rate of the Ukrainian insurance market, according to NAIU (National Association of Insurers of Ukraine) experts, Forinsurer writes.
It is especially worth noting the company's active work with individuals, where premiums increased by 35% to UAH 735 million. At the same time, premiums from legal entities increased by 19% and amounted to UAH 1.73 billion. According to NAIU, INGO is the leader in this segment.
In the first 9 months of 2024, the demand for insurance products increased, in particular, in the property and motor insurance segments, both the number of clients and GWP increased. Premiums increased in Motor Hull (+25.3%), MTPL (+35.5%), property insurance (+47%), travel insurance (+51.3%) and accident insurance (+25.7%).
INGO's paid claims for the period exceeded UAH 1.08 billion (~EUR 23.56 million), which is 32% more y-o-y. The largest amounts were paid in voluntary health insurance - over UAH 419 million, Motor Hull - UAH 328 million, property insurance - UAH 273 million.
The company's reserves increased by 11%, reaching almost UAH 2 billion. Equity increased by 16%, reaching UAH 1.34 billion. Highly liquid assets amount to UAH 3.02 billion, which is 3% more y-o-y, the source added.
