AIG CFO takes temporary medical leave

American International Group announced that Shane Fitzsimons, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, AIG, will take a temporary medical leave of absence, effective immediately.

Without disclosing further details, AIG representatives informed that its former CFO and current Executive Vice President, Global Chief Actuary and Head of Portfolio Management - Mark Lyons will serve as interim CFO until Shane Fitzsimons' return.
