The former Chairman of the Board of Ateshgah Insurance, Talet SAFAROV, joined the Board of Directors of ATESHGAH Life company. The changes were decided at the general meeting of ATESHGAH Life shareholders and the Board of Directors of ATESHGAH Insurance company.
Previously Azer ALIYEV served as a member of the Board of Directors of ATESHGAH Life company. ALIYEV has joined the Ateshgah IC team in 2012, as a head of Financial Department. From 2015 to 2016 he was the Deputy Chairman of ATESHGAH IC. Starting from December 2016 he was Chairman of the Board of ATESHGAH Life IC. Previously Azer ALIYEV held the position of General Director, adviser to the chairman of board and head of the Azerbaijan Insurers Association.
ATESHGAH Insurance company was established in 1996, while Ateshgah Life company - in 1998. In 2016, ATESHGAH IC ranked 4th in the Azeri market, with a 8.2% market share, while ARESHGAH Life held the 5th position, with a 7.7% market share.
