The Cyprus Insurance Institute (AIK) is preparing to host the 21st Annual Insurance Conference on November 12, 2025, at the Hilton Cyprus Hotel in Nicosia, cyprusinsurancenews.com writes.

This year's conference, entitled "Insurance in a Time of Change: Resilience and Innovation", will focus on the challenges and opportunities facing the insurance industry in a period of rapid change.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIK Mr. Charalambos Hambouris in his message emphasized that we live in an era of rapid and continuous changes – social, economic, technological and environmental. In this context, the role of insurance becomes more important and essential than ever as the insurance sector provides a sense of security that reduces stress and anxiety; contributes to the quality of life; ensures financial self-sufficiency of insureds and their families in insurance events.

The first section of the Conference will begin with a presentation on the topic “Insurance as a Pillar of Resilience in a Changing World”, followed by an open discussion with the speaker being Mr. Evangelos Anastasiades, President of the Cyprus Insurance Association and Chief Executive Officer of Altius Insurance.

The second section will include a presentation of marketing research on the perception of the insurance sector by the public and businesses. The third section will include eight expert presentations from leading professionals. The last section will include an open discussion with the speaker Mr. Yannis Vasalakis, Health & Financial Future Operations/Underwriting, Interamerican (Achmea Group), with the participation of experienced sales managers.
