Gerardo Polanco has been named as General Manager of Aon’s Iberia Reinsurance team, effective immediately, the company said in its press release.

According to the press release, in this role, Polanco will drive collaboration across geographies, business lines and specialties, to help optimize the firm’s service offerings and support better business decisions for clients.

“Gerardo’s strategic vision, leadership and deep market expertise will be pivotal in advancing our strategy in Iberia and strengthening our capabilities, in alignment with Aon’s global objectives. In this new role, he will help to enhance value for our clients as he creates and manages important internal and external relationships that enable us to optimize our service delivery”, said Tomas Novotny, EMEA CEO and chairman of International for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions.
