AM Best has improved the rating outlook of Eurasia insurance company from Stable to Positive, confirming its financial strength rating at B++ and the long-term credit rating at bbb+. Thus, Eurasia retains the highest rating among all insurance companies in Kazakhstan according to AM Best, the insurer reports.

The agency's analysts note Eurasia's stable balance sheet, strong operating performance, neutral business profile and proper corporate risk management.

The rating agency expects the company to continue to demonstrate stability and maintain its capitalization at the highest possible level, considering the risk, including through active internal capital generation and dividend recapitalization policy.

According to AM Best, the high assessment of Eurasia's operating results is supported by good underwriting profitability. The company effectively manages the portfolio, adjusting premium rates, carefully selects risks and sets conservative limits for its inward reinsurance portfolio.

It is separately noted that the company holds a strong position on the domestic insurance market and benefits from geographic diversification through international inward reinsurance. Business related to the USA, Europe and India accounted for about half of the company’s GWP last year.

According to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the first half of this year, the assets of Eurasia amounted to 43.2% of the non-life total assets. The company's net profit for 1H2025 exceeded half of the non-life sector.
