Laurent Rousseau has been appointed as Head of International, Marsh Re, effective immediately, Marsh, a leading global professional services firm, announced.

According to Marsh, in this newly expanded role, Mr. Rousseau will lead Marsh Re’s Asia, Pacific, Latin America and Caribbean regions in addition to Europe and IMEA. He will also continue to lead Capital and Advisory globally. Mr. Rosseau will partner with Marsh Re’s regional leaders to deliver the firm’s capabilities to clients in this complex risk environment.

Marsh has also announced the appointment of Andrew Hare as Chief Executive Officer of Japan, Marsh Re. The appointment is effective 1 January 2027 and is subject to regulatory approval.

In this role, Mr. Hare will lead Marsh’s reinsurance team in Japan, with overall responsibility for client management, and set strategic initiatives to continue to grow the business in the country. Mr. Hare joined Marsh in May 2026 and will continue to serve as Head of Growth for Marsh Re in Asia Pacific. He succeeds Jeremy Fox, who will continue in his role as Chairman, Asia Pacific, Marsh Re.
