German insurer TALANX informed Jan WICKE, previously responsible on the Board of Management for the Retail Germany Division, will take over as CFO as from 1 September 2020. He will replace Immo QUERNER who will leave the company on the best of terms and by mutual agreement effective 31 August 2020. At the same time, GOTHAER manager Christopher LOHMANN was appointed as Board of Management member responsible for business in Germany.

"After more than 14 years as CFO, Dr Immo QUERNER (57) will leave the boards of management of TALANX AG and HDI V.a.G. on the best of terms and by mutual agreement effective 31 August 2020. The members of the Supervisory Board have appointed Dr Jan WICKE (51) as his successor.

Dr WICKE joined TALANX AG's Board of Management in 2014 and took responsibility for the Retail Germany Division, which he successfully repositioned. He is succeeded by Dr Christopher LOHMANN (51), an experienced and respected insurance industry manager. Prior to his appointment, Dr LOHMANN was CEO of GOTHAER Allgemeine Versicherung AG and a member of Gothaer Insurance Group's group board of management", TALANX informed in a statement.
